Supplier Code of Conduct
Last updated June 10, 2026
At Chemnixe, building a more sustainable solar industry depends on the partners we work with. This Supplier Code of Conduct sets out the minimum standards we expect of every supplier, contractor, and business partner across our value chain.
We expect suppliers to share our commitment to ethics, human rights, safety, and the environment — and to extend these standards to their own suppliers and subcontractors.
Introduction
This Code applies to all suppliers of goods and services to Chemnixe and to their employees, agents, and subcontractors. Suppliers are responsible for ensuring that their operations comply with all applicable laws and with the principles set out below. Meeting this Code is a condition of doing business with Chemnixe.
Business Ethics & Integrity
We expect suppliers to conduct business with honesty, fairness, and integrity, and to compete on the merits of their products and services.
- Maintain a zero-tolerance stance on bribery, corruption, and facilitation payments.
- Avoid conflicts of interest and disclose them promptly when they arise.
- Protect confidential information and respect intellectual property rights.
- Keep accurate books, records, and financial reporting.
Labour & Human Rights
Suppliers must respect the human rights of their workers and treat them with dignity and respect, in line with internationally recognised standards.
- Prohibit forced, bonded, indentured, and child labour in all forms.
- Provide wages and benefits that meet or exceed applicable legal minimums.
- Respect freedom of association and reasonable working-hour limits.
- Prohibit discrimination, harassment, and inhumane treatment.
Health & Safety
Suppliers must provide a safe and healthy working environment and manage operational risks to prevent work-related injury and ill health.
- Identify, assess, and control workplace hazards and emergency risks.
- Provide appropriate training, protective equipment, and safe systems of work.
- Maintain safe facilities, machinery, and handling of hazardous materials.
Environment
As partners in a circular economy, suppliers are expected to minimise the environmental impact of their operations and support responsible resource use.
- Hold and comply with all required environmental permits and registrations.
- Reduce emissions, effluents, waste, and resource consumption at source.
- Handle, store, and dispose of waste and hazardous substances responsibly.
- Support reuse, recycling, and the recovery of materials wherever possible.
Compliance & Reporting
Suppliers must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and the standards of this Code, and should maintain the documentation needed to demonstrate compliance. Chemnixe may assess supplier compliance through self-assessment, audits, or site visits.
We encourage anyone who becomes aware of a violation of this Code to report it. Concerns can be raised in good faith without fear of retaliation, and Chemnixe will treat reports confidentially wherever possible.
